Our Exterior Frames are offered in two distinctly different styles. First, the sanded and primed Ultralight Frame can be shipped ready to be finished or leafed at your shop. These come in outside sizes up to 48″ by 48″ and in an almost any thickness. The profiles available in the Ultralight style are almost limitless. If you can draw your desired shape, we will most likely be able to duplicate it for you. Pricing is based upon your Outside United Inch. We have a 24 United Inch Minimum.

Our Second style of Exterior Frames are created using any of the six different species of A1 Grade Hardwood Veneered Plywood.
After the frame is cut, using our CNC router, an edge banding of the same species is applied to the outside and inside edges. The surfaces are then lightly sanded, stained (if desired) and finished with multiple coats of semi-gloss urethane. These frames are available in almost any shape and border width and in outside sizes up to 48″ by 48″.
This six inch deep Shadow Box Frame was created for one of Frank’s precious Ukuleles. It features Cream Fabric Shadow Box Sides and Backer. It is also inset with LED Lighting and a hinge to make the Uke easily accessible for use.

Since Veneers work best on flat surfaces, these are only available in the style of Cap Moldings similar to the images shown below.
Both style of frame can also be designed with multiple openings like the image shown here. Each opening includes a rabbet so images are easily installed. The design creates a similar look to a molding with a collage mat or liner but instead with a beautiful wood finish. Any of our frames can be enhanced by including fabric covered liners of a similar shape (Please refer to our Panel and FiberMat page for more details) In addition, we can create our Shadow Box Frames in almost any height (Please refer to our Exterior Molding and Shadowbox page).
